We were out hiking when, without any prior symptoms, I suddenly felt something was going very wrong. My heart was racing, and I couldn’t breathe. By the time I was rushed to the hospital, I got better, so my ECG was NOT recorded, and I was sent home with bronchodilator. But the symptoms, although in a milder form, returned and remained for weeks to come. I got a local cardiology appointment in a week time. Ultrasound, rest ECG, stress ECG, Holter, and finally Corona CT ... but none of them showed a significant difference. And I just didn't get better.
The cardiologist wasn't really worried; he said I was too young for this kind of thing, and finally I was prescribed some pills that made my condition worse. The doctor told me that he can't do anything with me until we catch the problem on ECG. In the next few months anytime I felt the symptoms I kept rushing to the emergency room, to my GP or wherever they could record my ECG but each time by the time I got there, there was no sign of any problem. I was told that maybe I could borrow a mobile ECG, but as it turned out, there was no such thing in the small town’s cardiology clinic.
I had two options: I either manage to record my ECG at home, or perhaps learn to drive at the speed of light. The latter did not work, so I was very pleased to discover that such a tool did exist! Exactly what I needed! I had ordered WIWE and waited for a miracle. Within a few days WIWE managed to "catch" symptoms of a certain problem at home on an ECG recoring. In a month time, I gathered so many recordings and read so much about the subject that I could almost diagnose myself. That may sound a bit weird, because I'm not a doctor, but I saw that the same parameter was always out of the safe threshold.
This time I took my printed results to an electrophysiologist, and I’m just over a catheter ablation. WIWE's diagnosis was 100% confirmed! Without WIWE, it would have taken longer to catch what’s wrong with me. I am 36 years old. I “only” lost half a year from my life because of a latent, congenital heart disease. I was fortunate to have the problem solved with ablation, and that WIWE was able to quickly discover this before something more severe happened. I very grateful for the team that developed WIWE!
